The Warrior Group Revealed
Episode 3 finished on a dramatic pause and presented the initial group of characters who will branch out from the primary party to begin their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.
The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).
The Reason for Division
Given a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.
That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before branching into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.
Characteristics of the Combat Party
As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for participants who are drawn to a classically intense battle-oriented narrative style where diplomatic options are few and far between.
Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might appear unsuited, but the actions of the latest installment show why these five characters are ideally matched for the combat party.
Motivations for Departure
First, the group understands precisely where to go next after a brutal opening clash with the enemy group.
Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose demise initiated the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his selfish purposes, entering the secret base, striking the rogue, and stealing all the magical artifacts to sell off.
The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd hot on his heels.
Personal Motivations
Secondly, each character has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:
- The agile hero, as the companion and trusted friend, wants vengeance.
- The knowledgeable figure knows Timmony and warns that it is a nasty place.
- The strong character and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to kill Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
- Yet, their reputation as prominent individuals in the powerful family could assist the group reach places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Furthermore, Teor swore a life debt to The cleric for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.
Wanted and Hunted
Lastly, all of them are sought by the authorities that control the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally dangerous:
- Thimble and The hero are notorious outlaws.
- The warrior and The cleric defied the powerful family and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
- The fighter is marked for death by the clan.
This results in them little choice but to head to the northern region in quest for the traitor.

According to episode three’s follow-up content, we learn that the Soldiers table will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight players to form the Seekers and Planners parties.
