An individual of Australian nationality who jumped over a barricade and touched actress Ariana Grande has been sent away and prohibited from Singapore.

The individual, twenty-six, was sentenced to nine days in prison for disrupting public order and has now been "banned from entering the country again," Singaporean immigration authorities informed Singaporean press.

The man shoved beyond security and rushed toward the celebrity, who was present at the regional launch for the musical adaptation on the thirteenth of November. Co-star Cynthia Erivo pulled him back from Grande.

The individual has a record of disrupting concerts and celebrity events, including jumping on stage at a Katy Perry performance in Sydney in this summer.

The incident sparked outrage in Singapore, with many claiming he of causing further distress to the star.

The pop star has spoken of suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at her performance in the UK city in spring of 2017 killed 22 people and injured hundreds.

In the legal process, the judge was informed he had attempted to intrude on the film's premiere twice, according to local news sources.

He then made a second attempt to jump the barricades. Security staff prevented him and restrained him.

He then uploaded videos expressing gratitude to the star for permitting his access and said he was "free."

Authorities detained him the following day and accused him with disorderly conduct, to which Wen pleaded guilty.

The District Judge the judicial official was quoted by a news outlet as remarking that he was looking for publicity, adding that he was incorrect to assume he would not experience repercussions.

The actress has not spoken about the case.

The co-star discussed the incident to a media outlet, saying that she "simply desired to make sure my co-star was safe."

"I think he didn't mean us harm, but you never know with those things, and I wanted to ensure that she was alright. That was my first instinct," she stated.
